SHORT DESCRIPTION
This project pertains to the spatial planning and design of a comprehensive plan for a reproductive medicine center. Recognizing the escalating prevalence of infertility in Taiwan, we have incorporated the latest fourth-generation AI in vitro technology within the medical center. Our adept designers meticulously tailored the spatial layout to accommodate state-of-the-art equipment, employing soft hues, and aesthetically pleasing elements to foster a convivial ambiance. This deliberate approach aims to optimize the functional efficacy of the medical facility, thereby fostering holistic convalescence for patients. This project has been developed to incorporate state-of-the-art technology and equipment to deliver exceptional medical care to patients, specifically focusing on women during the birthing process. Addressing the concerns and anxieties of infertile and pregnant women, the designers have utilized calming earth tones and incorporated natural outdoor scenery visible through the windows to establish a Qualia lobby space and waiting area. This intentional design aims to facilitate patient relaxation and emotional stability. Upon entering the reception lobby, visitors will be met with an installation art piece suspended from the ceiling. The transparent white double helix structure of DNA serves to convey a modern technological style while symbolizing the hospital's expertise in the field of infertility and invoking a sense of hope for the creation of life. The design elements, such as the curved edges of the walls and corners of the tables, not only contribute to an elegant and harmonious artistic aesthetic but also serve to mitigate potential collisions and injuries. Centralizing the implantation room, operating room, and laboratory on the same floor will provide physicians with a convenient and efficient operational environment. Additionally, a glass window in the laboratory will enable patients and their families to observe the inner workings of the laboratory and gain insights into reproductive medicine.
