SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Poly Center is located at the prime intersection of Kexue Avenue and Xuesong Road, with its tower soaring to 150 meters, creating a new skyline for Kexue Avenue. The project draws inspiration from the urban culture of Zhengzhou, refining and elevating the intricate patterns of the Houmuwu Ding, transforming them into an architectural language that conveys the spirit of a dragon soaring to the skies, embodying progress and ambition. This design not only aligns seamlessly with the rich history of Henan as the birthplace of Central Plains culture, but also deeply resonates with the Poly Group's corporate culture, which emphasizes the pursuit of excellence. The curtain wall system adopts a unitized curtain wall structure. The tower's curtain wall features two main materials: gray-blue and white glass. Through the use of vertical exposed and horizontal concealed glass mullions, as well as specially shaped mullions at the corners, the design further enhances the sense of depth and dimensionality between the building's volumes. The "dragon soaring" texture embedded within the form is rendered in white glass, creating a striking contrast with the surrounding gray-blue glass volumes. This combination of color contrast and changing lines cleverly enhances the spatial hierarchy and strengthens the visual impact of the design.
