SHORT DESCRIPTION
The hotel is situated within the Chengdu International Horticultural Expo Park, built around a lake and adjacent to the waterfall area, serving as the core residential and travel space within the park. The architecture blends seamlessly with nature in a low-profile manner, embracing the local culture to create a unique natural and leisurely experience exclusive to the park. Inspired by the concepts of "embracing stones, resting beside waters, and artistic wandering," the hotel adopts a mythical theme of traversing through "stone" space, fostering a distinct atmosphere where guests can "reside among rocks, gaze at waterfalls, and listen to the sound of flowing water." The functional layout maximizes the use of the landscape through the ingenious design of the lobby, lobby bar, all-day dining restaurant, Chinese restaurant, and specialty bar. Expansive transparent glass is extensively used to offer unobstructed views of the lake and waterfalls. Incorporating Chinese gardening techniques, the lobby entrance features a pool of water, the Rock Bar brings the scenery indoors, and the all-day dining restaurant includes an outdoor seating area, integrating elements of landscapes, plants, and rocks to blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, creating a visual experience and sensation of changing scenery with every step. The space harmoniously blends local cultures such as tea art and bamboo weaving with the geological texture of Chengdu — red sandstone, paying homage to the local ecology and culture. It creates an immersive natural sanctuary, offering a one-of-a-kind resort experience.
