SHORT DESCRIPTION
Perched atop the urban skyline, the 730㎡ residence at ESSENCE, Hangzhou, crafted by Nature Times Art Design under the theme "Returning to the Isle," embodies the philosophy of tranquil living in each inch of the space. An ideal home seamlessly merging culture and art with luxury, it offers a spiritual sanctuary within the bustling metropolis. Inspired by the concept of “Returning to the Isle,” this residence evokes the imagery of a solitary boat gracefully navigating the surging tides of the Qiantang River. Integrating the Eastern philosophy of tranquil living into the space, it imagines an ideal home where culture, art, and a luxurious lifestyle converge. Through fluid storytelling and artistic material expressions, life here transforms into a contemplative dialogue between self and space-time, offering an unrestrained spiritual retreat in this fast-paced, efficiency-driven world. This project aims to craft a tranquil sanctuary, where the soul finds repose and the heart takes root in the rhythm of the city. Upon entering, a calm wash of gray wood tone unfolds throughout the home, where the gentle motion of opening and closing doors lies a rhythm of order and understated luxury. A 21-meter glass curtain wall stretches like an unfolding scroll, framing the Qiantang River’s view from sunrise to moonset as the living room’s ever-changing backdrop. Here, Eastern and Western cultures converge in harmony, weaving an unseen narrative through space. On the south side of the corridor lies a private haven for both body and spirit. Spanning nearly 100㎡, it features a thoughtfully curated circulation loop, from an elegant wardrobe to a jade-accented bathing sanctuary that soothes both body and mind. The project evokes a ritual return to the essence of the Eastern spirit, creating more than just a superior physical space, but a poetic retreat for the soul.
