Born in Japan, Nobuaki Miyashita is the CEO and Principal of MR STUDIO Co., Ltd., an award-winning architectural firm founded in 2017. With over 30 years of experience, he has designed projects including residential, office, cultural, and industrial buildings, as well as urban developments across Japan and beyond. A first-class architect and AIA International Associate, he has received over 200 prestigious design awards in Japan and abroad, including honors from the Red Dot, iF, and AIA. Known for his concept-driven, site-specific approach, he reveals each project’s identity through integrated architecture, landscape, lighting, and product design. His works have been widely published and exhibited, earning recognition for bold vision, refined detail, and meaningful contributions to contemporary architecture worldwide.
